Memorial Friday for Man Shot in Angeleno Heights Easter Sunday

Little progress has been made in finding who killed the 21-year-old Angeleno Heights resident.

Family and friends will gather starting at 9 o'clock Friday at Forest Lawn to remember Etsael "Tito" Cardenas Jr.

The second of five children, he was killed early Easter Sunday as he listened to music in car outside his family's Angeleno Heights home.

Cardenas' cousin Cristina LaGuardia told us that the man's parents, Maricela and Etsael Cardenas, have lived for decades in Echo Park.
