Supporters noted that gang activity in the adjacent Vendome Street neighborhood below the historic Music Box Steps seemed to have dropped off since Edelson took over the club in 2011.

Fabian Bolanos, events coordinator at the club, told Patch in an email:

Our morale was never affected and we stayed positive considering [the process] could have taken 45 days.  A lot of staff depends on our doors being open.

Management had rushed to open

The monthly Club Called Rhonda, which regularly attracts over 1,000 patrons, will reopen Los Globos Friday night.
