Clean Up Targets Los Feliz Business District

Volunteer crews will hit local streets Saturday morning looking for graffiti, trash and illegal signs.

The Los Feliz Business District will get a good cleaning this Saturday from crews organized by several Los Feliz groups.

Saturday morning's clean up will target the area along Vermont and Hillhurst Avenues, as well as the Franklin Avenue Median and other locations.

It is co-sponsored by the Franklin Residents Association, the Greater Griffith Park Neighorhood Council and the Los Feliz Improvement Association, and it will target

According to the Frankling Hills Residents Association newsletter, volunteers should meet at 9 a.m. at the Elysian Masonic Temple, 1900 N. Vermont Ave. at the corner of Vermont and Franklin. After a brief introduction, crews will disburse to the target areas.

Participants are advised to wear comfortable shoes and clothes they can get dirty. Lunch will be provided.
