Black Walnut Trees Ready for Spring on Red Car Property Trail

Blogger Diane Edwardson says some black walnut trees on the Corralitas Property are spouting leaves. She counted possibly more than 120 there in total Monday.

This mild winter's got nature ready to Spring.

And springing it is.

Local blogger Diane Edwardson noted Monday on her Corralitas Red Car Property blog that the black walnut trees along the trail were starting to sprout.

She let us re-post the accompanying picture of one.

She also told Echo Park Patch in an email that "just for the [heck] of it" counted the number of black walnuts on the three-acre property Monday.

She said she counted "probably more than 120 trees."
