Bail Set At $1Million for Suspect in Echo Park Shooting Death
Police have arrested a 23-year-old man and booked him for murder.
Police have arrested Jeffrey Cardona of Los Angeles in connection with the .
Cardona, 23, has been booked for murder, and he will be charged formally in an arraignment within the next 72 hours.
His bail is set a $1 million dollars.

According to Wes Buhrmester of LAPD's Rampart Division, investigators do not believe that Cardona was the shoooter in the incident.

Cardona was arrested Thursday afternoon after undercover officers received a tip that he was in the Westlake area.
Detectives have been relying on witnesses, as well as surveillance videotape they recovered from several businesses along Sunset Boulevard, in their investigation.
Detectives from our Fugitive Warrant Section and agents from the U. S. Marshal’s Office, helped arrest Cardona without incident.
